This is for someone who has a floor plan in hand and wants to lay it out to build it (and then only if they're a bit of a masochist because most hard-core CAD programs are more intuitive than this.) I can't believe how awful the interface is when navigating in 3D - all those FPS video games out there with great interfaces and this software uses an interface out of the early 1980's. Overall Review: If you're just looking to dream a little and try some different floor plans or designs, this is *not* the software for you. Applying textures almost always "floods" entire plan. Moving the viewpoint has the most pathetic interface. Once rendered though, moving the viewpoint will result in the entire scene spinning several times per second. 3D Rendering is slow even with an E8400 CPU and HD3850 video card. Interface is pretty hideous especially for viewing in 3D. The only thing I never liked is the fly around feature it goes to fast no matter how slow the setting. I have used mine for years and have designed sheds, garages and a dream home.
